AsItShouldBe.com is my personal presence on the World Wide Web. I am using it as my private photo gallery. I wrote the code and designed the database layout for the web site to allow flexibility in displaying and managing the images. Who am I? My name is Ron Bergeron. I've been involved with photography for several years. The existence of (barely) affordable digital SLR cameras is what really got me interested. I was unhappy dealing with film and the lack of control I had over the output since I did not develop and print the images myself. Going digital changed all that. At this point in time, photography is just a serious hobby. To pay the bills, I'm a Senior Unix Engineer dealing with the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Solaris and Linux based server environments. Before my current computer career, I was an electronics technician working on high power RF amplifiers, spectrometers, and data acquisition systems used in medical imaging. Before that, I was an active duty US Marine Corps corporal working on the High Power CW radars for the IHAWK antiaircraft missile system.
